Danette Castello is the owner of Castello Agency, an independent property and casualty  insurance agency serving Louisiana families and businesses with over 30 years of  insurance experience. She purchased the agency in 2015 from her father-in-law, continuing  the legacy he began when he founded the agency in 1982.  

Danette specializes in commercial insurance solutions and small business coverage, and  she is passionate about helping business owners protect and grow what they have built.  She also continues to serve personal lines clients, providing well-rounded insurance  solutions for individuals and families. 

Known for her commitment to client service and community involvement, Danette has  received numerous honors, including Insurance Woman of the Year, Businessperson of the  Year, and Volunteer of the Year. Under her leadership, Castello Agency has been recognized  as Small Business of the Year and Best in Professional Services by the Zachary Chamber of  Commerce.  

Above all, Danette values helping clients succeed and is deeply committed to supporting  the local business community. Her greatest joy is her family, whose values inspire the care,  integrity, and dedication brings to both her business and community.

Shawn Bickham, CISR

Shawn Bickham serves as Personal Lines Manager at Castello Agency and has nearly three  decades of insurance experience. She specializes in helping clients with home, auto, flood,  and other personal insurance needs. She is dedicated providing knowledgeable guidance,  responsive service, and personalized support to help clients feel confident in their  coverage decisions. A proud LSU Tigers fan, Shawn brings a local, down-to-earth approach  to serving clients throughout the community.

Anastasia Boseman serves as a Customer Service Representative at Castello Agency assisting clients with day-to-day service needs including general questions, billing support,  and certificate requests. She is dedicated to providing prompt, friendly, and dependable service to ensure a smooth client experience.  

Madison Chatelain, CSR

Client Services & Marketing Coordinator

Madison Chatelain serves as Client Services & Marketing Coordinator at Castello Agency, where she is often the first point of contact for clients seeking insurance solutions. She assists individuals and families with the quoting process for auto, home, mobile home, boat, motorcycle, RV, and ATV insurance, helping gather information and guide clients through the early stages of finding the right coverage.

In addition to supporting new business and client service needs, Madison manages the agency’s social media presence and educational content, helping connect clients with valuable insurance information and resources. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing with a concentration in Sales and is known for her caring, detail-oriented approach to serving clients.

Madison is passionate about helping people and takes pride in creating a positive experience for every client she meets. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening and spending time with her family, including her husband and sweet son. She values community, connection, and making a positive difference in the lives of those she serves.

Barbara Huegler, CPIA

Commercial Lines Account Manager 

Barbara Huegler serves as a Commercial Lines Account Manager at Castello Agency, where she specializes in supporting business clients with their insurance needs. She works closely with commercial accounts to assist with policy servicing, renewals, and coverage changes. With more than 20 years of insurance industry experience, Barbara is committed to providing reliable, detail-oriented service and helping business clients protect their operations. When she’s not serving clients, she enjoys life as a wife and mother and can often be found at a baseball park, a dance practice, hunting or trying out new recipes in the kitchen.
